The City of Regina is looking for applicants who are passionate about their community and want to share their voices in a wide-range of City-led committees, boards and commissions.
If you are 18 years of age or older, a Canadian citizen, a full-time resident of Regina and have the knowledge, leadership and energy to make a difference in your community, go to Regina.ca/yourvoice and find a committee that interests you, including:
- Accessibility Advisory Committee
- Board of Revision
- Regina Public Library Board
- Development Appeals Board
- Regina Planning Commission
- Regina Downtown Business Improvement District Board
- Regina Warehouse Business Improvement District Board
As a member, you will sit on the same committee as City Councillors to advise them and help make important decisions on a variety of topics and issues impacting our community.
City Council values and seeks to further enhance the inclusive nature of Regina through living the values of respect and trust, celebrating the strength that comes from diversity and inviting participation from all in decision making. Nominees will have been recruited through an inclusive, transparent and equitable process and appointments made by City Council will reflect these objectives.
Representative citizen members provide a varied and valued perspective, reflecting and honouring the diversity of our community and bring experience, skills and expertise that contribute to good governance and informed decision making.
